Backup/Restore
($60/hour)

  • Migration of data from one drive to another drive (Example: Upgrading to a larger hard drive)
  • System configuration to perform auto archival of data to another backup location (Example: Nightly backups to another hard drive or a FTP Server)
  • Restoral of data from commonly used backup programs and file formats (Example: Restoral of data from Norton Ghost .GHO files, or .RAR files to original location)
  • System archival from hard drive to various media (Example: Complete image backup of system to a medium of your choice, such as DVD+R

Troubleshooting/Virus Removal
($60/hour)

  • If your system has suddenly started to perform unexpected actions or seems to have slowed down since you first got your system, it may be the result of various technical problems called bugs or an incorrectly configured computer.
  • Viruses/Trojans and Worms can affect not only system stability, but also performance, and can jeopardize the integrity of your personal information and data.
  • If someone was unfortunate enough to have activated a malicious program onto their systems, removal can sometimes be tricky and beyond the abilities of a user. Though, due to the nature of these sometimes destructive programs which can run without the knowledge of users, data can be lost forever if proper steps are not taken to prevent it.
  • House call PC Services can analyze systems and networks for potential problems and perform various operations to insure that clients get the highest performance and security from their computers and networks.
